Senior Operations Assistant - Legal Advisory - Birmingham

Due to continued growth, we are looking to attract a Senior Operations Assistant (Global Practice Area Executive) to join DWF, an award-winning global legal business.

This is a brand new position to DWF and the successful candidate will join our Legal Advisory Division in our Real Estate Team, providing operational support to the Global Area Practice Head.

Essentially, in performing this exciting role, you will enable the practice area to operate more efficiently. This role involves working across all facets of the business, liaising with Partners, fee earners, support functions and clients. The position will be far reaching across many disciplines and will encompass tracking financial and operational performance; supporting with people management; coordinating key meetings and cascading key messages, to name but a few.

We are keen to hear from applicants who have an operational, PA or finance partner background, gained within a large matrix organisation (preferably, with exposure to a legal environment, however, this is not essential). We are seeking someone with strong interpersonal skills as the role will require liaising with stakeholders at all levels across the business and someone who is strong with numbers/financials and the various Microsoft packages. Project management experience will also be advantageous to your application as we are looking for a self-starter, bigger picture thinker here.
