IDSA is a multicultural and vibrant acting school based in Brixton and at the Identity Theatre, formerly Stockwell Playhouse, which provides ongoing training of the highest quality whilst also preparing actors from all backgrounds for the reality of becoming a working actor. We welcome students of all levels, from beginners to professional actors.

IDSA was founded in 2003 by Femi Oguns MBE. The School was formed in response to the need for an establishment that reflects and caters for actors coming from a multi-cultural society. This year, the School celebrates its 18th birthday and a global student body who enriches each other's experience.
Since its opening, IDSA has received an overwhelming interest from industry professionals, including casting directors and major film production companies and has become a first point of call for directors seeking talented actors.
