Salary: £43,216.00 to £54,743.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Locations: Edinburgh, Falkirk or Bathgate

The Role

Link is looking for a Systems Team Leader to lead the management of several business systems, principally centred around the Aareon QL ecosystem. The role involves co-ordinating the work of the Systems Team to provide the business with reliable systems, information, monitoring and reporting.

The Systems Team Leader is a key post within Link's Digital Services Team. As part of the Digital Services Management team, the post holder will provide leadership, professional planning and communication to help deliver Link's Digital Strategy and corporate wide business change initiatives.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Digital Services Manager by working with the wider business to ensure that each system is managed effectively, has a clear development path, is aligned to business needs and upgrades are implemented correctly.

In addition, managing relationships between Link and the vendors of systems supported by Digital Services is part of the role as well as owning the MS Power Platform by ensuring that the capabilities of the team are extended to fully utilise the functionality provided.

About You

You will have an appropriate ICT qualification, have evidence of higher education and a continuing commitment to personal development.

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate complicated technical issues to business leads as well as have experience of working in a similar role within a complex programme/project which has delivered significant business improvement and changes.

The role requires experience of leading and implementing change projects and effective working processes and strategies organisation wide and experience of managing resources within budget. The ability to think strategically and to explain alternative perspectives is also a requirement of the role.
