Reporting directly to CEO, you'll:Lead and ensure all business units provide safe, well-coordinated, integrated, low risk and effective careEstablish, lead and rollout the clinical governance function and framework across the organisationEmbed a core Clinical Governance theme, work program and 'safety first' approach Extract and analyse robust data relevant to clinical careEngage with ACQ&SC, meeting and exceeding national and state standards for clinical careEnsure all workplaces have well-educated and fit-for-purpose workforcesCreate productive and effective relationships with visiting practitioners and external service providersBuild efficient organisational systems that monitor and manage risk, complaints and incidentsDevelop active, meaningful partnerships with clients, residents, patients and familiesWork with the Board Clinical Care and Safety Committee And you are...?A clinical governance boffin. Purpose-driven and capable of meeting expectations. A big picture seer who understands the minutae. A persuasive diplomat and collaborator with stakeholders and staff alike. Resilient, clear-headed and calm, but no shrinking violet. A thought, action, and change leader. No stranger to hard work. A consummate team builder and people-person, accomplished in communication and interpersonal skills. Fair but firm; you know where the buck stops. Genuinely concerned for the care and wellbeing of both consumers and staff. You have an extensive and successful background in clinical governance leadership within a health, hospital, disability or aged care setting.
