This is an opportunity for you to work with some extraordinary and aspirational students, in a developing area of East London.
The Secondary School opened in September 2016 and will eventually grow to become a ten form entry school with 1800 pupils, including sixth form, in purpose-built new accommodation.
Currently the school have approximately 800 students across Years 7 to 11 and we are expecting an additional 240 Year 7 students to join us in September. Aspiration is at the heart of everything we do and we believe that every child has the right and potential to achieve their ambitions.
The School are looking to recruit an ambitious Head of Photography who shares our vision and ambitions for the young people of this community.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for their first position of responsibility within the department and who has experience of teaching Photography and Art at GCSE.
The Sixth Form will be opening in September 2022 and the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to help set up a challenging and effective Imedia course at Key Stage 5.
You will be joining a highly motivated and passionate group of staff who work tirelessly in the best interests of the students. Staff development is central to everything we do and you will receive weekly coaching sessions, a personalised CPD programme which best fits your needs and clear pathways for progression.
