Do you have a can-do attitude? Are you passionate about improving the life chances and outcomes of children?

We have two SEND schools catering for pupils aged 9 - 19. Our schools are based in Ashford and Cranbrook and are calm and orderly. Our ethos is to improve the outcomes for children irrespective of the obstacles faced. We work with rigour, pace and passion to ensure our pupils achieve the best possible outcomes. In addition to academic outcomes we also embrace vocational outcomes and strive to provide our pupils with the self-confidence to move to a position of independence and fulfilment.

We are expanding and are therefore regularly seeking progress and engagement guides to support pupils with learning and to enhance wellbeing. You may be required to work across both school sites therefore a driving licence is essential. You will be confident with working with 2 or 3 pupils at a time to deliver intervention sessions and will have experience of working with SEND.

Information about the school

Our schools are smaller than average-sized special schools, registered to admit between 50 - 60 pupils. The Schools serves pupils aged 7-19, who have a range of primary diagnosis including autism, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and cognition and learning difficulties. The vision is that every child should go to an inspiring and life changing school, have the best teaching and benefit from all services working in partnership with each other to ensure their future life chances are improved.
