The post holder will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
The post holder will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the district nursing team to provide a quality nursing service.
The post holder will be the clinical expert who will be accountable for case management and nursing activity within the caseload, and/or lead, manage and support the district nursing team
Applicants must hold SPQ DN or similar, or working towards this qualification, associate DNs can apply
Advanced Clinical Assessment and V300 prescribing modules would be desirable
The shift pattern is; Monday Friday plus Weekends to meet the needs of the service
Part time hours will be considered.
