An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the Older Peoples Inpatient Services based in Ward 6 at Queen Margaret Hospital.
The service has 22 inpatient beds. We provide on going Assessment and Rehabilitation for our Elderly population. We work closely within the MDT to meet the specific needs of the patients including Physio, OT, Dietician, Tissue Viability and Psychiatry. Ward 6 also provides ongoing care for patients awaiting discharge to Home as well as Alternative Care.
As part of the team you will contribute to the delivery of high standards of care as to support and manage patients with complex needs. You will work closely with the MDT to ensure effective management in planning optimum care for the patients. This post requires experience in an elderly or medical setting and the relevant knowledge and skills to work within the service.
This is an opportunity for someone wishing to further develop their knowledge and skills within the Rehabilitation Setting and, as a role model, create a supportive ethos in the provision of a high quality service as set out in Nursing Assurance Framework.
