Supporting our business transformation efforts to: Deliver Operational/Business Change projects across TAS GB
The Role
Willis Towers Watson's Technology and Administration Solutions (TAS) is a global line of business whose revenue is primarily driven from providing outsourced pension administration services to occupational pension funds.
  • Managing projects from request through to post implementation review, utilising the standard Project
  • Provide project management and business analysis support for change projects across the business
  • Ensure project resource allocations are up to date and in line with the agreed tolerance
  • Take the lead on business change delivery management, ensuring that business as usual is maintained during implementation and the changes are effectively integrated into the business
  • Manage a team of project/change and business analysis resources
  • Initially to define the projects and support the production of a business case for each to secure approval to continue to delivery
  • Managing projects from end to end
  • Stakeholder management across different cultures and locations
  • Building and managing remote teams via matrix management
  • Production and tracking against all key project management deliverables (incl: schedules, Risk and Issue log, change control, status reports, budgets)
  • Assessing, recommending and establishing the project organisation necessary for success
  • Ensure all project governance is followed including production of governance documentation and adherence to internal quality gates
  • Co-ordination of all resources assigned to projects
  • Working with off-shore delivery teams
  • Influencing business users, particularly in the face of resistance, and promoting change
  • Handled large and multiple end to end transitions with different levels of complexities
  • Strong focus on deliverables - do whatever it takes to meet timelines and quality of deliverables
  • Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones
  • Create and maintain the project deliverables including but not limited to project plan, risk plan, resource management plan, weekly project status reports, communications plan, meeting minutes, actions/issues/decisions register
  • Report program status and escalate issues
  • Ensure benefit delivery as per financial and non-financial targets in individual and managed projects through effective implementation and change management
The Requirements
  • An experienced Project Manager/Lead with Business Analysis experience
  • Experience of managing several projects simultaneously and extensive change delivery record
  • Prince 2 qualified ideally and ISEB BA qualifications
  • Has strong experience of delivery E2E transition projects in the FS Sector
  • Team player with a positive, flexible attitude and strong in overcoming risk.
  • Experience of corporate DC and DB pension schemes (Defined Benefit & Defined Contribution) or an insurance background are an advantage.
  • Experience of driving best practices and hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of liaising with people at all levels and championing new ideas
  • Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel and Project
  • Able to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Flexible and "can do" approach
  • Strong organisational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance driven environment
  • Able to manage both the business and IT aspects across the full project lifecycle
  • Strong Stakeholder management at all levels
  • Able to shape projects from an early point in the lifecycle
  • Use of Industry standard project management methodologies
  • Experience of managing projects across multiple / international locations
  • Track record of successful project delivery
