We are currently looking for a Communications Advisor to join a multinational Building materials manufacturer and supplier in Rugby.

Requirements:
  • Relevant degree level qualification - Comms/PR/Media/Journalism/English
  • Valid B2B or sector experience in comms and PR - some experience
  • Excellent verbal & written skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Good time management and prioritisation
  • Experience of building and maintaining relationships with the media
  • Sound knowledge of social media and digital platforms
  • Full Driving License and willing to travel
  • Idea generation and creative thinking
  • The ability to identify and develop PR opportunities at regional and national level
  • A track record of success in media relations with a strong sense of what makes news
  • Multi-channel communications experience
  • Ability to work closely with a range of internal departments and external partners
  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and ability to use initiative to do a great job
  • Commercially aware and results driven
  • Experience in working with senior internal & external stakeholders
  • Experience of event planning and management
  • Experience of incident and crisis communications management
