Smart Teachers are seeking to recruit an SEN TA/Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a Good school in Ealing. The post is for the duration of the 2021/2022 academic year, starting in October 2021 on a full time basis. There is a high possibility of reemployment in September 2022. The successful SEN TA/Special Needs Teaching Assistant will support a pupil in Year 1 with ASD/Autism on a 1:1 basis. The pupil requires support academically and with following the class routines. Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD would be beneficial but not essential as the school will provide training for the right candidate. The school has a purpose-built ARP which caters for pupils with ASD. The SLT are well established and there is a big focus on CPD for staff, with the aim of upskilling all staff. To be considered for the SEN TA/Special Needs Teaching Assistant position, you will:
- Hold an enhanced DBS
- Have previous experience working with children in the UK in the past 2 years
