English National Opera is Britain's only full-time repertory opera company, based at the London Coliseum near Covent Garden.We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Finance Business Partner to provide an expert business partner service to English National Opera's Box Office and Development Income, Marketing and Communications and Property business areas. Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, this is a key role responsible for taking a lead role in the analysis and communication of financial information to ensure better decision making and the future growth of the organisation. Your key responsibilities include: Production of the monthly management accounts, monitoring and reporting on the actuals v forecast performance for their areas;Delivering planning, budgeting and forecasting; track box office and development income performance;Developing and maintaining excellent business partnering arrangements across the organisation, providing management with reliable, consistent and timely financial information;Championing change and consistently delivering improved financial performance.The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified accountant with a driven approach and robust technical skills from the Charity, Commercial or wider Public Sector. You will have a strong sense of commercial acumen and an analytical mind-set.
