Duties will also involve consolidating and retiring older applications systems and software to reduce operational overheads. The role is an exciting mix of business as usual and project work where you will have a real impact on the future of WWF-UK's work. Responsibilities include:Ensure Backup and IT Disaster Recovery requirements are achieved as described in the Business Continuity PlanMaintain accurate and detailed systems documentationSupport and maintain virtual infrastructure located both on premises and in Public Cloud (IaaS)Management of a multi-site switched and wireless networkManaging faults, including incident ticket management and change control from creation to closureMaintain WWF-UK's line of business applicationsManage and ensure effectiveness of our security solutions and threat defencesystemsOperate and maintain our proactive monitoring systems The ideal candidate will have the capacity to acquire new skills. You will have the ability to troubleshoot problems in a structured manner, as well as understand the impact of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance on technical solutions. You will have experience with Windows Server System, Microsoft 365, IaaS/PaaS deployments, as well as computer networking right-sizing systems for performance and cost. Strong PowerShell skills is essential.
