One of the new 'things' I have been seeing since the pandemic is that regional roles don't necessarily need to mean high volumes of travel (yey). I am currently working with a company on a role who are embracing just that! A whole new meaning to agile working and work life balance! The sites are based in and around Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
A midlands based company in the care sector are recruiting for a Regional HR Manager to join their team. This position is based solely from home with very rare and ad hoc travel to sites. It will report to a HR Business Partner who focuses on the strategic element of HR while this role gets to enjoy all the juicy operational 'stuff'.
By 'stuff' I mean:-
- Varied and complex ER case work, everything from discplinaries, grievances and performance issues to absence and long term sickness cases.
- Upskilling and coaching line managers, working in partnership with the HR BP to understand the current process, gaps in their knowledge and training and put a plan together to bridge the gap
- Being a point of contact for any more complex HR queries
- Working alongside the HR Advisors on lower level casework
- Building relationships with the key stakeholders to understand the needs of their teams
This position has an obvious ER focus but with nice additional elements involved. This company is fast paced, complex and demanding and they are looking for someone who has come from a similar industry.
Paying - £40,000p.a. + car allowance (even though you aren't really using your car for the role!)
