Due to exceptional demand for our products we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and proactive Operations and Logistics Manager with a passion for customer satisfaction to join our ever growing organisation.
Nature and Scope of Position:
+ Inbound Logistics – manage the Operations Assistant in booking and scheduling inbound containers to our various internal, 3PL and customer’s warehouses, as well as handling customer communications accordingly when inventory is delayed
+ Multi-Channel Order Management – oversee the entire order process for various ecommerce and export sales channels ensuring orders are fulfilled within promised dates to guarantee customer satisfaction and prompt payment from B2B channels
+ Inventory Management – implementation of accurate inventory management to ensure incoming orders can be fulfilled on time in full
+ Ownership of fulfilment – working with our internal warehouse manager and 3PL contact to ensure peak performance levels are achieved and maintained, as well as overseeing the end to end process to ensure all customers are notified promptly post shipment
+ Outbound logistics – liaising with various carriers measuring performance ensuring customer satisfaction
+ Analysis & reporting – create and monitor the KPIs of our operations, fulfilment (in house and 3PL) and carriers against SLAs seeking to continuously iterate and improve
+ 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced eCommerce environment
+ Experience managing a fulfilment process – either in a fulfilment team, oversight of a 3PL, or both
+ Experience managing inbound and outbound logistics
+ Highly analytical and data-driven
Particular skills/knowledge required:
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a strong understanding of an ERP software (preferably OrderWise or similar)
+ A self-starter who will work to up-skill themselves on any gaps in knowledge
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills
+ Exceptional organisational skills required
+ Strong numeric and analytical skills
