You will be working in a private hospital environment in Staffordshire providing care for adult patients on the Oncology Unit. As Chemotherapy Nurse (RGN) you must be experienced in delivering chemotherapy to adults. The hospital is a purpose built facility which provides specialist private healthcare to those in the local community.

Job Description
As Chemotherapy Nurse (RGN) you will be:
  • Work independently, running own diary & managing a caseload
  • Assessing and supporting the operational team to implement the care, writing person centred care plans & risk assessments
  • Educating patients, and providing them emotional support
  • Administering chemotherapy drugs and managing side effects
  • On-going assessment of existing clients, ensuring highest levels of care is delivered
  • Regular communication with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team, acting as the client's advocate
  • Review, auditing and maintenance of clinical documentation
  • Monitoring and ensuring the delivery of care is clinically suitable & evidence based
  • Teaching, assessing & delegating skills for Healthcare Assistant and Support Workers
The Successful Applicant
  • Registered with NMC
  • Valid DBS within last 12 months
  • Experience that falls within: Chemotherapy & Oncology
  • Able to offer regular shifts so that we can pre-book with the client
