At Care South, a leading not for profit social care organisation, we have an opportunity for a full time Specialist Team Leader to join us working at our office in Peasedown St John on the outskirts of Bath. For this role a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is required.

Key duties for Specialist Team Leader include (but may not be limited to):
  • To promote a professional image of Care South with all clients, their families and other professionals.
  • To visit all new clients and complete necessary form, in accordance with the enablement programme and to liaise the Home Care Coordinator to ensure the correct information is inputted into the computer system.
  • To prepare, in consultation with the clients, a care and support plan and risk management plan to enable Specialist Care Assistants to provide person centred outcome based service.
  • To undertake ongoing quality monitoring, completing the required paperwork and giving feedback at team meetings.
  • To identify, through monitoring, any staff training requirements and to arrange training, with the Staff Supervisor, for those staff attending the client.
  • To ensure clients are monitored and reviewed in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
  • To maintain accurate medication records in line with the requirements of the Company, Social Services and CQC.
  • To attend team meetings to ensure continuity and quality of care.

About you:
  • Holder of an NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Strong IT skills, ability to multitask and work to internal objectives
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Holder of an enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one
