An exciting opportunity for a Security Vetting Coordinator to join a global leader in Digital Transformation & IT Services on a part time basis working 25 hours per week.

Role Info:

Security Vetting Coordinator – Employee / Contractor Screening – Global Tech Leader.
St Ives, Cambridge, PE27
£21,000 – £23,000 pro-rata
Plus Benefits Package
25 hours per week. Hours can be flexible but ideally you will work a minimum of 3.5 hours a day and can increase hours (above 25 hours per week) in accordance with demand.

The Security Vetting Coordinator Role:

We are recruiting for a highly motivated Security Vetting Coordinator to join our busy Vetting Team. As a member of our Vetting Team you will be required to provide excellent coordination and administration skills to support the completion of security checks on employees and contractors working for, and on behalf of, our business.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process a high volume of requests efficiently
+ Focus and prioritise in order to meet deadlines
+ Manage requests discreetly, particularly due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the information being processed
+ Communicate effectively across all areas of the business
+ Work closely with the HR and Resourcing teams and be proactive in providing progress updates
+ Maintain an accurate record of requests and their status
+ Work independently with minimal supervision
+ Develop new processes and amend existing processes to cater for changing business needs
+ Act as a first point of contact for all vetting queries.

About You:

Essential Experience:

+ Previous experience of data entry work
+ Previous experience of administrative work with a high level of organisational ability and attention to detail
+ Understanding of general Data Protection principles and good practice.

Desirable Experience:

+ Experience of processing security vetting applications
+ Good working knowledge of the various types of security clearances
+ SC cleared.
