Head of Finance
Aldridge Education is a charitable trust whose entrepreneurial community schools help young people to reach their potential. We support our Principals and teachers in rapidly improving the quality of education on offer at primary, secondary and sixth-form levels in order to transform the life-chances of our students.
As Head of Finance you will have the breadth and wealth of skills, knowledge and experience to not only ensure that our Schools operates within the financial framework within a multi-academy trust, but also the ability to support effective financial management at Trust level. This is an important and rewarding role, working closely with our Schools and the Trust Executive Team to ensure the highest standards in financial practice. You will undertake all aspects of financial management as well as development and maintenance of internal controls, policies, systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Trusts finances and assets.
You will have proven yourself in your career to date, be highly motivated leader with attention to detail. Effective communication skills will be a must. The post holder will have experience of leading a team, ideally within the educational sector, although this is not essential.
