The AIP recognises the need for diversity across its professional teams and the programme is dedicated to supporting that process by helping under-represented groups access and develop career opportunities to transform D&I outcomesKey relationshipsThe AIP Programme Manager will build, establish and maintain good and professional working relationships with:SEO London senior management team and staff across other SEO London programmes to ensure effective collaboration across the organisationSponsor alternative investments firmsSEO London candidates and university studentsSEO London alumniMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Programme Manager will assist or lead in the following duties:Provide leadership and manage a team of 2-4 people to ensure programme delivers on objectivesOversee and execute flagship SEO London AIP workstreams including :Demystifying the City - week-long programme for Year 12 students to gain exposure and networking opportunities to sell-side and buy-side roles/professionals within the CityAlternative Fellowship Programme - extensive coaching and mentoring programme to enable junior professionals within banking/consulting to break into roles on the buy sideConference for the EMEA Alternative Investments IndustryProvide coaching sessions and training for SEO London CandidatesOrganise and conduct the recruitment, assessment and recommendation of candidates for junior talent opportunities including summer and off-cycle internships for university level students at sponsor AIP firmsManage key relationships across business lines and senior management level at steering group firmsIdentify AIP programme business development opportunitiesManage SEO London alumni relations to ensure mentoring and training provision for AIP programmeSupport SEO London's IT strategy including the website re-design, online application system and CRM managementDevelop programme budget and cash flow analysisConduct analysis in achieving KPIs of AIP workstreamsKnowledge and skillsThe ideal candidate will have a significant number of the following skills:Significant experience (min. 3-4 years) in either sell-side (eg Investment Banking / Markets) or buy-side (Asset Management / Private Equity etc) rolesStrong interest in diversity and belief in SEO London's missionStrong inter-personal skills with the ability to manage professional service relationships on the one hand and university students/young professionals on the otherSubstantial project management expertiseKnowledge of the UK university system and have some recruitment experienceSmall business management skills in the form of financial budgeting and database managementStrong work ethic and demonstrated ability to multi-taskAdaptable to change given the AIP is still in developmental phase with a lot of growth opportunityMS Office IT literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of Salesforce desirable but not essentialExposure to training and development
