Data and Exam Manager

Uniform Education are currently supporting a SEND school in Ealing, who requiresupport in recruiting an examinations and data manager.

Main purposes of the job
  • To lead on developing the vision and strategic direction of using data effectively, reliably and to improve the operating performance of the school
  • Designing and implementing new operating, collection and design systems to meet new accountability measures as identified by Ofsted and the DfE
  • Designing, implementing and evaluating the timetable on an annual basis
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

Main responsibilities and tasks
Attainment and reporting procedures
  1. Lead and be accountable for the effective use of the SIMS Assessment, Examinations and Timetabling systems
  2. Lead on all parental reporting, access and security with a move towards online reporting
  3. Manage the printing and distribution of assessment and profile reports to parents
  4. Maintain/monitor assessment manager area of SIMS
  5. Lead sessions with teachers on how they can develop their use of data to enhance teaching and learning within their curriculum area.
  6. Design and set up complex templates in response to the data needs of School Leaders
  7. Ensure correct data fields are inserted into report templates so that reports are complete and accurate
  8. Independently resolve problems relating to data collection and reports to ensure smooth running of procedures
  9. Provide summary analyses of student reports for subject leaders, senior leadership team and the Headteacher
  10. Work with the senior leadership team in setting clear and workable deadlines for data collection and to meet all deadlines
