A unique opportunity to work for an owner-managed business in North Norfolk as sole Payroll Manager for their diverse organisation who are also offering hybrid working.
Your new role
In this role as Payroll Manager you will have sole responsibility in managing their multiple weekly & monthly payrolls as well as dealing with new starters, checking on-line timesheets, deducting HMRC payments and dealing with payroll queries. The organisation has a number of different businesses therefore the payroll will involve processing pay across various pay scales, shifts and rates so accurate processing skills are essential. Ideally you will have experience of Sage Payroll and also be confident with Excel when analysing payroll costs which will be allocated to the relevant business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven payroll experience and be able to manage multiple payrolls across their varied workforce of approx. 160 - 180 staff who are paid via timesheets. If you are currently working in a payroll team but looking for a sole role this could be the right job for you. We will expect you to aware of latest payroll legislation and keen to offer a high degree of customer service internally to staff when dealing with payroll queries.
What you'll get in return
The organisation offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 a 2/3 day week in the office so hybrid working is available, free car-parking, pension and other flexible benefits.
