Paralegal/Contracts Manager | 3 months contract with potential to extend
An award winning Telecommunications Company based in Berkshire is seeking a paralegal/contracts manager to join their legal team for an initial period of 3 months.
Reporting into the commercial director, you will be supporting the legal team which negotiates complex sales transactions across Europe. Your primary responsibility will be the handling of a range of requirements relating to contracts and working with sales teams. Work will include:
* Reviewing orders and other contractual documentation * Making amendments to contracts * Primary point of contact for Sales and commercial lawyers for a number of related matters * Continuously educate (by training or otherwise) and share best practices with Sales and other stakeholders and contribute to internal newsletters and training sessions etc.
The successful candidate
You will have a law degree as a minimum and have at least 3 years experience in a contract management position. Experience in telecoms, networks or technology would be beneficial. Other essential skills include:
* Experience in drafting and negotiating agreements * Strong communication skills * Ability to work independently * Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast paced environment * Understanding of procurement contract clauses and risks
