We are looking for a Programme Manager to join our TPG Maritime Ltd team in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward thinking team, who are working on sharing innovative solutions or manufacturing bespoke engineering systems.

The Role

This Programme Manager position sits within our bespoke engineering solutions side of the business, where we develop life-support systems in critical workspace, oxygen and carbon capture based solutions, water purification, rugged electronics for harsh environments and precision engineering of high-integrity equipment.

We are looking for this Programme Manager position to effectively manage multiple complex programmes and their delivery, with the support of a multi-disciplined team operating in highly regulated industry for critical applications. You will be responsible for the project and product development life cycle, overseeing the workforce, resource and financial planning of the projects. You will be required to ensure throughout the duration of the project, from concept and test phase through to delivery, that best practice is met. You will also be required to provide accurate management information and reporting, for key stakeholders including customers and the senior management team.

About You

To deliver this role you will be required to have proven experience as a Programme Manager in a highly regulated engineering environment. You will have a track record of delivering multiple projects on time, cost and meeting quality standards. Within your previous positions, you will have experience contributing to, and supporting the bid process. You will have excellent communication skills, along with exceptional planning and organisational skills. You will have a working knowledge of project management processes, ideally, you will have worked within a project management methodology such as APM or Prince 2 in a commercial environment.
