About the Role: As a strategic-level role, the Engineering Maintenance Contracts Manager has commercial and contractual responsibility for major accounts, as well as line management responsibility for on-site Managers.

You will hold the senior relationship with the customer and will be the initial point of escalation off site. You will have overall technical responsibility for operational excellence in the delivery of services and satisfaction to customers. You will be the main point of contact and person directly responsible for the overall successful relationship with the Customer Business Partners. You will own full contract understanding, including initial contract negotiation and agreement, ongoing adjustments and overall compliance. You will be involved in start-up projects, including hiring of the Site Managers and the delivery of the site project plan, as well as Business Development and pre-contractual activities with customers.



Requirements: You should have a formal engineering qualification (HNC/HND minimum, ideally Degree level) and a background in complex Engineering products or equipment. You will have excellent commercial awareness and business knowledge with a minimum of 10 years senior management experience. You should possess strong portfolio, programme and project management experience, as well as experience of client relationship development with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills. You should be a natural problem solver and be impactful with a high level of gravitas.
