I am working with a well established homelessness charity or are seeking to appoint a Finance Officer for their business development team focussing on the sales ledger. This role is a permanent position and will be part of a team of 30 working closely with other departments and report into the Assistant Director Business Development.Ensure successful management of billing and renewalsLook after invoicing as well as ensuring debtor chasing are kept up to dateInvoice customers, licence orders, annual licence renewals and professional servicesManage credit control, pursue non-payments and ensure debtor levels balances are in lineProcess all invoices from CRM Salesforce and also monitor delayed payments and queriesMaintain accurate accounts, produce written and statistical reportsMonitor and review systems and procedures advising where improvements can be madeBe on top of data required for financial management The Finance Officer will have a proven track record within the sales ledger and either be part qualified or looking to start their studies in the future. To be considered for this role the Finance Officer must have a passion to work in the charity sector and a minimum of one year's work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role.This permanent role is to start as soon as possible and will consider those on a month's notice period.
