One of the UK's most inspiring and best-known, faith-based organisations is looking for a highly experienced and entrepreneurial Corporate Fundraising Manager to develop our corporate fundraising programme.The Salvation Army is a Christian church and international charity providing a range of services for children and the elderly, those trapped in modern-day slavery, homeless people, those seeking employment, those struggling with debt and people fighting addiction.As a Corporate Fundraising Manager, you will develop and implement an innovative strategy for substantially growing this programme. You will secure new, multi-year partnerships that enable the transformational work of The Salvation Army. An effective leader, you will manage the corporate fundraising team, writing powerful cases for support and ensuring strong cultivation and management of our corporate partner relationships at the highest level.The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:A strong track record of successfully growing corporate fundraising income streamsExceptional communication and client/ relationship management skillsExcellent networking and presentation skillsThe ability to see and develop new opportunities for funding partnerships which add value for our partnersThis is a permanent position based at Territorial Headquarters currently located at 101 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6BN, with some remote working. Within the next 1-2 years, the current office in Newington Causeway will be vacated. New flexible working arrangements are being developed in Central London area to reflect the changed world of work that has arisen following the Covid-19 pandemic.Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme; season ticket loan and an employee assistance programme.Appointment subject to satisfactory references and proof of right to work in the UK.Closing date: 19th September 2021.
