Our client, who has seen consistent growth year after year, is now looking to hire a Finance & Investor Relations Associate to join its high performing team which will eventually lead their Investor Relations or Portfolio practice. This is a unique opportunity for an eager accountant looking to gain exposure to all aspects of finance and IR within a role which offers superb progression opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare materials for investor updates (including fund AGMs and fundraising)
  • Gradually increasing exposure to investors to take on responsibility as the go-to contact for existing investors
  • Support with ongoing investor reporting and requests
  • Management of the platform for the monitoring of investments
  • Preparation of periodic internal reporting with respect to the portfolio, working closely with the investment team
  • Managing the process for investor drawdowns and distributions
  • Support with the collection of ESG/impact data in respect of portfolio companies
  • Support the Business Manager with the ongoing financial management of the fund
  • Support with preparation of periodic compliance reporting in respect of the fund
YOUR PROFILE:
  • You must be a UK qualified accountant
  • High attention to detail and willingness to take accountability
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with important stakeholders
  • Knowledge of private equity is a plus
  • Strong self-motivation and proactive
  • Strong Excel and IT skills required
  • Previous project management experience required
  • Background in healthcare or science highly desirable but not essential
