The software is based on a SaaS model with a monthly fee for each user license, along with training and support services. Already the software of choice for hundreds of UK law firms, it is our aim to further expand our user base by promoting and selling our software to more law firms throughout the UK and Ireland.
Our SaaS platform also offers law firms with a Legal Accounting module. Law accounting differs from standard accounting; firms need to handle client money entirely separately to their office account, record disbursements against clients, record time and costs for work done and produce correct bills, all whilst ensuring they are abiding by the rules and regulations stipulated by government and other bodies such as the Law Society or SRA. Our accounting functionality is designed to help process transactions quickly and easily whilst saving clients and minimising the risk of errors.
In addition to the accounting module, there are other modules such as case management and workflows that the associate will be able to get their teeth into also.
Where you come in:
Underpinning our legal accounting module is our fabulous Professional Services Support and Training Team. Due to continued demand for our product we are currently hiring.
Reporting to our Support and Training Team Leader, as Software Support & Training Associate you will be responsible for supporting the smooth management of the Professional Services Team, ensuring that our customer’s needs are met in a prompt and efficient manner. You'll be customer-facing, and using your expertise on our products (which we'll teach you) you'll passionately support our customers ensuring they get the best out of our tools.
The role is varied and covers:
+ Supporting customers with our software product (60% of role)
+ Providing onsite or remote product training (10%)
+ Supporting customers with the installation of our software on their PCs (20%)
+ Growing your own knowledge to progress to “Specialist” level (10%)
+ A-C grades in GCSE for Maths & English (or equivalent)
+ Customer support experience
+ Finance related experience
+ Strong numeracy & ability to pick up accountancy software
+ Strong IT Literacy (inc. Microsoft Office)
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Customer confident
+ Ability to prioritise
+ Accounts knowledge
+ Finance related degree
+ Legal Accounts experience
+ Helpdesk experience
+ Understanding of legal practices and case management software
