You will be working within a high-volume based payroll environment, whilst being aware of the upcoming changes within the UK legislation. Delivering a managed payroll service to clients in a professional, friendly, efficient manner.

Client Details

An independent Accountancy firm based in Berkshire, who look after a range of clients from start ups, private clients to large corporations and international businesses.

  • Effectively plan and manage your workload whilst managing, servicing and delivering clients payrolls
  • Validating and inputting data received to agreed deadlines
  • Checking inputted data and making all relevant corrections before the live run
  • Auto-Enrolment in line with TPR regulations
  • Process monthly pension downloads to a variety of pension providers
  • Managing all aspects of Tax Year end processing for their customer base

  • Experience in up to date and upcoming changes to payroll legislation. Actively share updates from payroll sources including HMRC Podcasts, HMRC Employer Bulletin, The Chartered Institution of Payroll Professionals (CIPP)
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills using a variety of media dependant on the situation
  • Demonstrable knowledge of PC literacy and software usage of Word and Excel
  • A visible commitment to quality processes and the ability to challenge and influence change (if necessary) to established procedures
  • Demonstrable experience within a customer service environment
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise conflicting workloads
  • Experience within high volume payroll operations

Job Offer

Competitive Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum

25 days holiday increasing by one day per years service up to a maximum of 30 days with an option to buy and sell up to a further 5 days holiday

Flexible with a rolling start time between 8.30 to 9.30 on 7.5 hour working day
