Role - Experienced Paralegal Secretary Required

Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Location - Camberley, Hampshire

Are you an Experienced Paralegal Secretary looking for your next opportunity to join a dynamic company?

Atlas Employment are delighted to be working with a new client based in Camberley. The successful candidate will already have good experience and will be ambitious and motivated. The candidate will also be focused on building new business relationships with third party contacts and referrers and will be fully competent in IT and word processing skills.

What will you be doing as an Experienced Paralegal Secretary ?
  • Performs research on applicable regulations, laws, and legal scholarship
  • Collects and organises evidence and other important papers for lawyers to review
  • Keeps client files organised and up to date in paper and/or electronic format
  • Drafts formal legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings, as well as correspondence with clients and other parties
  • Prepares reports for lawyers in anticipation of trial
  • Gathers formal statements from parties and witnesses for use in court
  • Assists during trial by taking notes, preparing exhibits, and reading court transcripts
  • Files documents, such as briefs and appeals, with court and other parties
  • Arranges meetings and depositions with clients, witnesses, and other lawyers
  • Contacts clients to investigate the case and keep them apprised of the case's status
  • Attends to basic clerical tasks, such as photocopying, making and receiving phone calls, and fielding correspondence
