Supply Planning Manager required to manage forecasting and stock allocations across UK. Remote working
Your new company
You will be working for a leading organisation who are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planning Manager on a 6 month contract looking to pay £600 per day. You will be able to work remotely, but there will be visits required to sites UK wide. You will work 5 days in 7 meaning weekend work may be required and this will roughly follow either Tuesday- Saturday OR Sunday- Thursday.
Your new role
You will be working as the Supply Chain Planning Manager and will manage a team of 3 Supply Chain Planners. The role of the Supply Manager is to lead the detailed supply planning, and stock allocation of stock for the organisation. You will work with warehouses across the UK to forecast demand and monitor stock levels at all sites ensuring OTIF. This will eventually involve helping to set up new SKU's on Oracle and developing an automated replenishment model. You will also need to drive root-cause analysis to ensure that if plan A doesn't work, you have another option. You will have to continually review demand and ensure future supply of stock if there is a sudden peak in demand. You will need to improve the quality of data, metrics and processes, working with stakeholders on the goal of continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will have prior experience of managing a team within a supply chain environment. You will have a solid understanding of supply chain planning principles and will be able to help implement these principles into the operation. You must be a strong user of Excel and is is a necessity that you have used Oracle ERP system. You will be able to make data driven decisions and will be happy working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment. You will have knowledge of writing and creating stock loss reports and then reporting this back to the senior leadership team. It would also be beneficial if you have worked in a regulated environment previously.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a day rate of £600 and will get a contract for 6 months, which has the possibility of getting extended.
