Position Title: Sr. Product Partner Manager, Roku TVThe Role: The Roku TV team is looking for a senior level Product Partner Manager to work closely with Roku TV licensees, manufacturers, and various internal groups to bring new Roku TV brands and models to market in Europe. Your TV product and partner management experience will help you identify and communicate technical requirements and product features to internal and external stakeholders. The relationships you develop with our partners will empower you to articulate their perspective on product features and create common understanding and alignment. You will negotiate effectively with the partners to positively influence the way they collaborate with Roku. From time to time, you may be required to author feature guides, technical notes, and release plans enabling the team to efficiently and effectively develop and qualify new Roku TV models. You will also coordinate the release of Roku OS and other SW deliveries to the partners and ensure that such releases meet or exceed Roku's rigorous quality expectations.

  • Own the product and technical relationship with OEM partners working on Roku TV for the European market
  • Coordinate with the Roku TV business development and marketing teams to cultivate and bolster successful TV partnerships
  • Work with the OEM partners to establish short term and multi-year product roadmaps
  • Participate in quarterly business and technical reviews with the partners, working closely with internal business, marketing, PR, and engineering teams
  • Advocate product issues on behalf of the partners within Roku and influence internal teams to resolve the issues in a timely manner
  • Understand and analyze partners' requirements and translate them to product requirement documents and feature guides.
  • Act as an escalation point for Customer Service issues for the partners and guide such escalations to successful resolution for Roku and the partner
  • Work with the partners to address HW-related defects reported by customers and reviewers
  • Create and maintain Roku TV Product specs for each partner
  • Manage periodic OS and SW releases to the partners
  • Arbitrate technical discussions between Roku engineering and partners/factories regarding product bugs, defects, and features
  • Support program kick-off meetings with the brand partners and factories
  • Engineering background with very good understanding of HW and SW
  • Excellent knowledge of European TV technology, applications, and standards
  • Partner and product management background in similar roles: 5+ years in TV industry / 10+ years in consumer electronics
  • Outstanding negotiation and partner management skills, leveraging your strong technical background
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline required
  • Based in Cambridge, UK with the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
