Position : Manual Vertical Milling Machinist Location : South Yorkshire
Your role will be to operate various manual milling machines within the Production Facility.
•Operation of open Butlker and Elga miling machines to high standard of quality and productivity.
•Apprentice trained or equivalent on the job experience training •Proven ability to read and interpret complex product drawings including geometrical tolerances and symbols for machining •Proven ability to work to tight, accurate tolerances. •Understanding the concept of two and three siding •Understanding milling thickness, width and ends to size on rectangular and square steel section •Ability to operate 1 or 2 machines where safe and practicable or work within a cell operation
Desirable: •Apprenticeship or Engineering qualification •Either NVQ/ONC/HNC/HND •Previous experience in a steel machining precision environment
- 4 days per week - 1 week days Mon - Thu - 1 week nights Mon - Thu
£21,000 - £23,000 per annum + Shift allowance
