A successful and vibrant market-leading company who design, develop and manufacture all of their products in-house at their site in Oxfordshire are looking for a new Engineering manager to join their business at an exciting time of the companies' growth.
As Engineering Manager (Customer Project & Sustaining) you'll be responsible for leading the engineering function in the delivery of customer engineered products and to manage all released products to ensure functionality, compliance and cost management is maintained.
This role is key in the management of the customer experience and you'll therefore be required to set and enforce engineering standards and operating procedures, to foster a culture of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and business excellence.
Essential skill required for the position:
- Recognised capability in Customer Engineering of systemised products.
- Engineering product development demonstrating a knowledge of product lifecycles and business process lifecycles
- Management of a team of multiskilled/ disciplined engineers (mechanical/ software/ scientific)
- Project planning expertise
- History of using quality tools in problem solving, 8D, Ishikawa and leading quality improvement activities

Salary on offer for the role is between £55,000-70,000
