We have a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Medical Secretary to join the HCA family. Ideally you will have previous cardiology experience and knowledge but this is not essential.
As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued provision of the highest quality of secretarial and administrative support to our various consultants and practice.
This is a permanent role in a team directly supporting one consultant but providing cover for other consultants as and when needed.
Duties will include providing full secretarial support to your consultant, being responsible for the appropriate management of patient appointments, procedures, liaising with patients and other hospital departments as required in order to facilitate this.
You will also undertake any other duties as called upon to carry out by the Practice Manager.Skills Needed

- Previous Medical Secretarial experience is essential, ideally within Cardiology
- Knowledge of DGL, DICT8 and CWS be would an advantage
- Computer literate
