There is an exciting opportunity to join the Magic Breakfast team as we continue to grow as an organisation in order to reach more children at risk of hunger in the UK. In the past year we have doubled the number of schools we work with and tripled the number of children we reach each school day and we have an ambitious strategy which will continue to see all areas of the charity grow in order to end child morning hunger for good. Against this backdrop, we are looking for two School Partners to effectively and efficiently deliver Magic Breakfast's programme with a group of schools in a given regional area. Acting as a Magic Breakfast school's main point of contact, the School Partner's role will be to work with their allocated schools to establish, develop and optimise school breakfast provision as well as monitoring the charity's outcomes through schools. Key to the School Partner role is ensuring all schools are supported and challenged to strive to reach every child at risk of hunger. In addition, the School Partner may need to recruit new schools to take up Magic Breakfast's offer of support as and when funding is available, leading them through the Magic Breakfast two year 'School Journey'. Once schools who have completed the school journey, the School Partner provides ongoing personalised support and challenge as necessary and in line with the Magic Breakfast strategy and operational plan. The School Partner is expected to actively manage the relationship with each school on their list, including key staff within in each school, to ensure that challenges are overcome, and any slippage is addressed, keeping breakfast a valued and integral part of the school day, safeguarded for the long term. This role will be home based covering an area within the West Midlands or North West England.More information on this responsibilities of this role can be found in the attached job description. The closing date for this role is 19 September 2021.
