CNC Turning Setter Operator required in Tiverton.

Back shift:

Monday - Wednesday - 4pm - 2am
Thursday - 4pm - 1am

£14.67p/h - 39 hours per week.

Do you have CNC turning experience and an engineering background? Looking to join an established company in the Tiverton area?

An excellent opportunity is available for a mechanically minded and experienced CNC setter to further their career with a niche company in Tiverton Devon.

Responsibilities include:

* Setting CNC lathes to produce rings
* Selecting correct programmes for manufacture
* Identifying and setting tooling on machine centres
* Running batch work and checking dimensions using a CMM
* Maintaining machine to our TPM requirements
* Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Skills required for the role:

* Understanding engineering drawings
* Ability to follow process instructions
* Understanding of basic G code (Fanuc) programmes
* Knowledge of the turning process
* Ability to use measuring equipment
* Basic IT knowledge

A basic level of engineering machining experience will provide a good foundation for training on specific use of machines and other job functions.

Hours of Work

Monday - Wednesday - 4pm - 2am
Thursday - 4pm - 1am
39 hours
