Client Details

My client is a growing PR & Communications consultancy offering comms solutions to government, political and corporate clients around the world. They pride themselves on their highly personal approach and focus on developing long term strategies to defend and build reputation. They work with clients in emerging markets, providing senior communications counsel across: corporate communications, disputes, litigation and conflict, elections and campaigns, crisis communications and executive coaching. Clients include high net worth individuals, multi-national corporations, ambitious start-ups looking to raise their international corporate profile.

Description

The team are looking for an experienced and passionate PR Account Manager, ideally with experience in a communications agency setting. The role responsibilities will include:
  • Playing a key role in the development of communications strategy and overseeing its successful implementation
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships with the experience and confidence to provide advice
  • Supporting and motivating each client team to deliver results
  • Drafting essential communications collateral, such as client and journalist briefing notes, fact sheets, press releases and opinion articles
  • Organising and coordinating client events, such as press conferences and photo opportunities, and accompanying clients to third party events
  • Overseeing implementation of social media strategies working with digital partners
  • Contributing to the broader company new business effort by taking an active role in networking, developing leads and participating in pitches

Profile

The ideal PR Account Manager will have previous proven experience working in an agency setting on complex communications briefs, managing teams and building client relationships. In addition, excellent writing skills are a must as well as strong organisational skills. A willingness to travel is a prerequisite & additional languages would be highly advantageous.
