Procurement Manager for general indirect services based in Uxbridge. 9 month contract initially.
Your new company
I am recruiting for a very exciting FMCG business that keeps going from strength to strength and have seen significant growth in the last year. This organisation have an international reach, spanning over 90 countries but their UK division is very lean. As a result they are now looking to bring on board a fairly autonomous Procurement Manager to look after their UK&I operations.
Your new role
As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the Indirect service procurement across UK&I including upcoming projects relating to marketing spend, CAPEX maintenance, facilities, and little bit of packaging. You will be a strong negotiator with the ability to work with your suppliers to get the best commercial deals for the business. You will also be fairly comfortable working autonomously in this role with some buying support from junior staff members. You will be leading initiatives and driving the procurement agenda across the region.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have proven experience across a range of indirect categories and show the ability to turn your hand to a selection of categories. You will be an independent worker and if you speak another European language that may be beneficial but certainly not a must)
What you'll get in return
In return, there may well be opportunity for future growth in this organisation through a merge with a sister company further down the line. If you do well in this role, and drive value across Procurement there will be opportunity for permanent employment. They offer flexible working c 2 days in the office, and 3 from home.
