To succeed in this role, you'll need a passion for helping inspire families with the most engaging, entertaining and educational content and an understanding of how to get stellar results from SEO and Content Marketing. Essential requirements:
  • You understand what makes great SEO and content marketing and how target and to produce content for different audiences in multiple countries
  • You have managed a team of Junior SEOs
  • You have at least 3 years' experience in SEO Content Management
  • You know your way around Ahrefs, SEMrush and CMS tools
  • You have strong experience conducting keyword research and analysis for enterprise level websites covering a broad range of topics and categories
  • You're able to develop internal & external processes to help manage SEO site hygiene elements such as internal link development & anchor text optimisation, broken internal (and external) links, page meta data and image optimisation for SEO
  • You've got experience using Google Analytics/360, Search Console and Google Trends to analyse content performance, issues and trends
  • General onsite and offsite SEO best practice is clear to you as well as core HTML structural practices, website structure and international SEO setup and handling
  • You're able to have productive conversations with editorial, content, UX and development teams to ensure page level optimisations are aligned with SEO best practice
  • Experienced at UAT and signing off designs UX/UI and dev, you're able to ensure all development is SEO optimised
  • You are super familiar with building test-and-learn strategies to grow traffic from SEO and other organic channels such as social media to help inform a broader approach to organic growth

  • Managing Junior SEO team day to day and recruiting and training new team members
  • Reviewing and signing off Content Briefs created by team and training and managing Content Brief Coordinators to do so, and to answer queries from Brief and Content Writers
  • Working closely with the keyword research team to identify keyword opportunities based on our content roadmap, and ensuring we meet business targets for monthly keyword opportunities
  • Ensuring that the site health score is always 90%+ when measured on ahrefs.
  • Reviewing new development work, ensuring that any releases are sound from a technical SEO basis
  • Working closely with the technical and development teams to resolve issues relating to broken links, redirects, alt text optimisation, image optimisation and other tasks needed to improve overall site health
  • Collaborating with SEO Lead to formulate SEO roadmaps and strategy
  • Conducting regular website content audits to ensure these follow SEO best practice
  • Weekly analysis and reporting on the performance of content suggesting tactics and initiatives to address changes in performance
  • Reporting on the use and performance of SEO tools and deliver day to day optimisation
