We are recruiting for an Assistant Crime Registrar to join a team based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

The overall purpose of the role is to: Promote ethical standards of crime and incident recording ensuring National Crime Recording Standard (NCRS) and Home Office Counting Rules (HOCR) compliance together with providing specialist knowledge to colleagues, ensure best practice through rigorous quality assurance, and maintain data quality standards in the Force crime recording and incident databases.

The knowledge or skills required
  • Knowledge of Niche RMS.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of National Crime Recording Standards (NCRS) and Home Office Counting Rules (HOCR).
  • Ability to document clear rational to support decision making.
  • Ability to work alone and on own initiative.

This is a temporary role for 8 months (until June 2022), working full-time paying an initial £13.62 per hour PAYE.
