Role: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Durham

Start Date: October Half Term

Teaching Personnel are working with a 'Good' two-form Primary School in Durham who are looking for an experienced KS1 teaching assistant to work within their Y2 class on a full time basis. You will be supporting the whole class as well as taking small groups of pupils for interventions in both Reading and Writing, experience leading interventions would be beneficial for this position.

With good public transport links and parking available on site, the school boasts a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with supportive staff to encourage all pupils to reach their potential.

Role requirements & Responsibilities:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experienced working within KS1
Experience with Reading and Writing interventions
Must have experience running interventions for writing and reading
Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
