Are you a teacher? Do you want to make your own hours and curriculum? Do you want to support those who need you most?

We are looking for a tutor to work one to one with various young people in the Allerton area. These young people are in need of extra support with their schoolwork and overall academic development due to their exceptional circumstances. The reasons these young people are either not accessing mainstream education or need further support while they are attending school is due them being Looked After, having SEN or being excluded from mainstream education.

You as a tutor would have complete autonomy over your work, creating individualised schemes of learning to support these young people. You will need to be engaging and promote progress but can be tailored to suit your owns style and the learning methods of the young person. These young people will most likely need support in English and Maths to support their future career prospects.

The tuition is usually carried out either in the home of the young person or another suitable learning environment such as a library or the school they are registered with. If this is within a school setting, the majority will need Maths and English either as Functional Skills or possibly GCSE.

The ideal tutor would have:

A Teaching Qualification/ tutoring Experience
Experience of working one to one with young people
A calm and patient personality
Working through Teaching Personnel allows for many benefits including

Team of consultants to look for roles for you and support you in the ones you find
A competitive wage of GBP20 to GBP25 an hour

Flexibility on your working conditions
If you believe you are the perfect Tutor, can motivate and inspire these young people, please send your CV
