The Children's Air Ambulance (CAA) provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Their objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies. The charity is at the forefront of innovative clinical care and is always challenging boundaries. None of this can be achieved without a hugely dedicated team of colleagues, volunteers and the general public.

The charity is looking to develop its fundraising presence in Bristol and the surrounding areas. This means that the role initially will be approaching new opportunities within the local community to grow their brand. This could be with local groups such as rotary clubs and commercial organisations that potentially want to support. You will have the ability to grow a future pipeline that supports the charity in the years to come. With that in mind the role has a key business development focus in the region often from a 'cold' point of engagement. As we move into a new world of fundraising you will be comfortable utilising new innovative techniques and also creating them to drive income for the charity. CAA are committed to supporting you every step of the way with the tools you need.

Person Specification:

The role holder will have proven experience generating income and building new relationships. You will be resilient, dynamic and utilise a range of business development techniques.

The charity is looking for a variety of backgrounds and experience within this team however you will need to be proven at lead generation and converting that into new relationships.

Role Responsibilities:

Identifying new opportunities and leads within the region that will generate new income streams for the charity.
Developing and leveraging existing relationships within the Bristol area maximising income for the charity.
Build relationships with volunteers in the region to support the income generation targets.
Presenting to local organisations and groups within the region.
Manage the database effectively to ensure access to accurate and robust reporting.
Work with the wider supporter care team so create a consistent supporter journey across the function.
