Key relationships

The Investment Banking Senior Programme Manager will build, establish and maintain good and professional working relationships with:

SEO London senior management team and staff across other SEO London programmes to ensure effective collaboration across the organisation
Partner investment banks, asset management firms and financial institutions
SEO London candidates and university students
SEO London banking alumni

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Programme Manager will assist or lead in the following duties:

Provide leadership and manage a team of 4-6 people to ensure programme delivers on objectives
Oversee and execute flagship SEO London Banking Programme training programmes/events including:

Step into Finance programmes (happening in July-August) providing education and exposure to students prior to the Application cycle kicking off in September
First Year Fast Track (happening in Oct) providing insights and networking opportunity for first year students keen to obtain spring weeks
Pre-Spring Training (in March) for 1st year students who obtain spring weeks with sponsor firms
Pre-Summer Training (in June) for penultimate year students who obtain summers internships with sponsor firms

Provide coaching sessions and training for SEO London candidates
Organise and conduct the recruitment, assessment and recommendation of candidates for internships and graduate roles with sponsor firms
Manage bank relationships at the HR and Line Management levels
Identify banking programme business development opportunities
Manage SEO London alumni relations to ensure mentoring and training provision for investment banking and asset management programme
Support SEO London's IT strategy including the website re-design, online application system and CRM management
Develop programme budget and cash flow analysis
Conduct analysis of SEO London's class and market

Knowledge and skills

The ideal candidate will have a significant number of the following skills:

Significant experience (min. 3-4 years) in Investment Banking / Markets / Asset Management
Strong interest in diversity and recruitment
Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to manage professional service relationships on the one hand and university students on the other
Substantial project management expertise
Knowledge of the UK university system and have some recruitment experience
Small business management skills in the form of financial budgeting and database management
Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to multi-task
MS Office IT literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Salesforce desirable but not essential
Exposure to training and development
