DLS is seeking a welfare benefits advisor to join our team delivering a welfare benefits information, advice and casework service to people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). This is an opportunity to work in a unique post as part of a collaboration between two highly respected charities. The MS Society and DLS have been working in partnership for over 10 years to offer expert help and advice to people with MS and their families.
You must be able to demonstrate experience of delivering welfare benefits advice.
Disability Law Service is a Disabled People's Organisation (DPO), which means that we are user-led, with 75% of our trustees and well over 50% of our employees being disabled people. Accordingly, we are only seeking to recruit a disabled person to this position. We take the widest possible view of disability, and so welcome applications from those with physical or mental health impairments and those with neurodiverse conditions
The post will be based at Disability Law Services office in Vauxhall, London, working in collaboration with the with the existing MS Benefits Advisor, the MS Legal Officer and DLS' welfare benefits advice service. Remote or hybrid working can be considered.
