The Role: IT Manager

Salary: £40k - 45k

Type: Permanent

2Fawcett have an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager to join our client based in Warwickshire, on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for managing the IT department within the UK Business Group & stabilise for improved delivery.

The successful candidate will devise, implement deliver the future IT vision, strategy road map and business case.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • IT service delivery & IT projects
  • To continually develop IT strategy, operating model, road map and business case to improve the IT function & implement systems aligned with business outcomes
  • To be accountable for driving change process in IT within the business and utilise all IT tools
  • To be the prime point of contact with functional business leads to determine new solutions requirements
  • To hold relationships with key IT suppliers and manage pipeline of work with key suppliers
  • To contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the business
  • To develop the teams' capabilities to deliver and sustain the business vision of developing and selling end to end solutions to core customers
  • To create & maintain IT and management strategy in line with stakeholder needs and in keeping with current best practice
  • To ensure IT and management are in line with agreement strategy and policy and in compliance with legislation and standards
  • To manage the day to day operations of IT systems ensuring planning, end user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered
  • To develop and maintain the major incident and business continuity plan for IT and to implement measures designed to safeguard the IT and management needs in the event of major incidents or disasters
  • To manage the relationship with and between external agencies and suppliers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in line with strategic aims and financial constraints and that ongoing service is in line with agreed contracts
  • Overall control of all IT transactions including operating costs, budgets and audit systems

Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 2 Years experience in a similar role
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Strong communication skills
  • Happy to work for a large organisation

Job Type:
  • Full-time position, Monday - Friday
