I am currently recruiting for a Communications and Campaigns Manager to work at a local authority based in Wakefield. This role can be remote based with one day in the office per week required.
This is a unique opportunity to support in the local ongoing response to the Covid Pandemic.
As part of the Communications, Engagement and Marketing Service, you will work closely colleagues across the organisation to develop and deliver communications and campaign plans.
The focus will be to support residents to navigate their way through the pandemic which will include encouraging uptake of vaccine, communicating the importance of testing.
The role will also help local services, businesses and facilities to operate under Government measures to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
This will include supporting the successful implementation of any changes in local restrictions, either to lift them further or reintroduce measures as required as part of any local outbreak containment plans.
You will play a lead role in delivering coherent and consistent multi-agency communications advertising local safe spaces, service availability and safety measures implemented to build trust and confidence with Wakefield residents to encourage use of both services and spaces.
It is essential that you have significant experience of working in a communications, marketing or PR environment, and of working successfully as part of a multi-agency and multi-disciplinary team.
As a confident marketing and communications professional, you will have a proven track record of planning and delivering successful multi-channel communications and marketing campaigns, and evidencing the impact they make.
