Are you a leader who can further develop outstanding finance management practices as well as highly regarded support services teams? Then this Director-level opportunity to join our outstanding, growing and developing Special School could be for you!

Meadowfield is a large, outstanding Special School for pupils age 3 to 19 with profound, severe and complex special educational needs. We provide excellent teaching and additional facilities for more than 370 pupils but we also have exciting growth plans, increasing our school size and the range of services we provide. We have recently opened a separate Sixth Form centre on a second site in Sittingbourne and in September 2021 launched our new Specialist College called Ascend.

We are now seeking someone who combines excellence in financial management with the ability to develop and lead a high quality support services team that includes Facilities, Finance, HR, IT and Office Services.

In addition to your senior level experience of sound financial planning and control for a significant organisation-wide budget you will need to demonstrate your ability to think strategically and actively contribute to our longer term school growth plans. Excellence in inter-personal skills together with evidence of role modelling our school values in your team leadership and working relationships are also essential qualities.

Working closely with the Principal and as a key member of our high performing, supportive extended senior leadership team you will make a significant contribution to our continuing success. In return, we also understand that to get the best from you we will need to offer important opportunities for your own professional and leadership development.
